COVID-19: Ritabhari Chakraborty Requests Fans To Leave Food For Stray Animals

Ritabhari Chakraborty also appeared in the Bollywood film 'Pari'. As reported by The Times of India, Ritabhari said that the three Bengali films will be of different flavours.

Ritabhari Chakraborty today shared a video requesting her fans to leave some food for the stray animals as there is a complete lockdown in the country. People are not stepping out and hence there is no food left for the stray animals. The actress even penned down a message with the video.

“Lets do our bit to protect the street animals. The planet is not just ours - we share it with our trees,animals and birds.Please leave some food outside your door for the street animals or if you have constrains like limited ration or no extra food you can donate to “Cats and Dogs” just like i did. They are devoted to feed street animals with permission and are following all safety measures as advised by the government. Their google pay number – 6289865752,” she wrote.


Ritabhari has quite vocal about spreading awareness during this coronavirus. Till now 29 deaths have been confirmed till now and more than a thousand cases have been reported.

She made her big-screen debut with the film Tomar Shange Praner Khela but the film later got stuck. She even worked in films like Barood, Tobu Basanta, Srijit Mukherji's multi starer film Chotushkone. Chakraborty was cast in the Bollywood film 'Pari'. As reported by The Times of India, Ritabhari said that the three Bengali films will be of different flavours.
